Another busy weekend...

Life is flying by at the moment. I'm so tired all the time, I swear I could go to sleep at any point of the day if I lay down long enough.
I really don't want to bore you with the nothing stuff that has been going on around here. We are seeing Saul and Michelle on Saturday, and then Sunday we are off to the Ideal Home Show at Earls Court with my Mum and Dad. A lack of cash flow at the moment means we will mostly be window shopping.
That's it.....I'll write more when I actually have more to write.

Meet Baby Gill

Here you go.....meet baby Gill. I think it's quite easy to see. Amazing considering that baby only measures 7.2cm. We saw and heard the heartbeat, and baby didn't stop wriggling.
Everything was OK with the scan. Baby is healthy and all the checks came back normal.
It's still early days, so keep your fingers crossed.

What a week

Well, after the excitement of last weekend who would have though Charlton would again find something in them to pull back a 2-2 draw from being 2-0 down. We've proven we have the fight, now we just need the wins. Draws just aren't enough to survive.
Had a bit of a bad day on Wednesday. Took John's car keys to work with me in my coat pocket...opps, oh and it was a hire car so no spare. Not a problem you might think, just drive them home.....a cunning plan had the M20 not been shut since 2am and the whole of Maidstone grid locked. We eventually found a away to sort everything out and John managed to get to Brentwood only 25min late for his course.

On Friday John picked up his new 07 Hyundai Santa Fe. It's lovely....and very big! We went out for a drive on Saturday and came home with two garden pots, two plants, some pretty flower things and three bags of compost. Our front garden now looks Beautiful!
Saturday evenin we had friends Tim Cyn, Matthew and Hannah round for dinner and then were out for Sunday lunch with Ed and Michelle.
Busy weekend over we come to a very exciting week. Our first scan..........

Monday Monday

I hate Mondays.... Believe me, even when you don't work it's not great. I mean, Katie and I do get a lie in, but then it's off to Tumble Tots at 11am, home at 12.40pm, quick lunch, then leave for nursery at 1.20pm. Phew.....then shopping (food), home to unpack and put away and back to nursery to pick Katie up for 4pm.
If you aren't totally bored by now, obviously the day finishes with cooking dinner and bed, squeezing in some time for John and I to catch up and chill out.
I'll stop now.....
After easter Katie and I will have the whole day to ourselves, it will be bliss.
A bit of free advertising for Tumble Tots now..... in case you aren't aware of what Tumble Tots is all about, here is a bit of gumph about it from their website:

'Designed to develop children's physical skills of agility, balance, co-ordination and climbing, through the use of brightly coloured Tumble Tots equipment.
The programme is structured to develop children's positive personality traits including confidence and self-esteem.
Each 45-minute weekly session combines fun, excitement and challenge in a safe and caring environment. All sessions use unique equipment and are run by staff specially trained to get the best out of your child. It is structured according to the different ages and stages of a child's development.
Child psychologists and educators agree that a structured program in movement should be a part of every child's education.'

It's nearly Tuesday....YEAH!

Come On You Reds!!!!!!!

So I mentioned yesterday how important todays football match was. A win was required, and boy did we win in style!!!!!! 4-0.......4-0, I still can't believe it. What an amazing game. We can't remember the last time we scored three goals, let alone in the first half of the game. WOW!
After the match, we went back to my parents to pick up Katie, and stayed for yummy lasagne. We put Katie in her PJ's and she was asleep before the motorway.
My Dad is really poorly, so I hope he feels better soon, especially as he can't have any time off work at the moment, sick or not!
John is sitting watching the match highlights on SKY and I'm gonna post this then head for bed - Night Night!

This Weekend

Ok, so it's my turn to go to Football this weekend. I share my Charlton Athletic season ticket with John's friend Darren, it works out great for both of us.

Anyway, this weekend is perhaps the most important game in our fight to stay in the premiereship. We welcome West Ham to the Valley and it will be Alan Curbishleys 1st game at the Valley as a visiting manager. A win would put us three points above West Ham and just three points behind Wigan, and safety. Hope is not lost. Although it will be great to see Alan C back, lets hope that he's not smiling when he leaves.
That's pretty much my whole Saturday taken care of once we have dropped off and pickup Katie from Nannies house.
At the moment we have no plans for Sunday, although we really should use the time to unpack a few more boxes and Katie's toys really could to with a sort out. Boring family life stuff.
